Research Catalysts offers the following services in support of our business as Supplier of Catalysts and Adsorbents:

Reactor design/simulation with proprietary software for

• Precious metal catalysts used in catalytic oxidation for removal of hydrocarbons, for example from plant off gases for environmental compliance or to purify CO2 for food grade use; for natural gas deoxo e.g. via reaction of trace O2 with methane/ethane; and/or O2 removal by reaction with hydrogen (classic deoxo).
• Copper catalysts for O2 removal by chemisorption, which can be a cyclic process involving periodic regeneration of the catalyst
• Removal of other contaminants, such as moisture, CO2, H2S, COS, mercaptan-sulfur, or oxygenates (e.g. methanol/ethanol), using molecular sieves and/or activated alumina type materials.
